QI GONG TO MASTER MANUAL MEDICINE
Objectives of the Training:
Learn and practice simple forms of Qi Gong that can be applied to the practice of manual medicine.
Understand the principles that govern the practice and theory of Qi Gong.
How to translate the movements and principles of Qi Gong into manual practice in Chinese medicine.
Introduction to the dynamics of Qi (Qi Ji).
You will learn:
Shaolin Nei Gong: A simple and effective Qi Gong system.
Dao Yin: The Dao Yin taught will be accessible, easy to remember, and will serve as a foundation to feel the movement of Qi in the body.
Tian Gan: The series of exercises called "Heavenly Stems" is an exceptional set designed to integrate the unified movements of the body and develop the ability to mobilize patients without using force. This practice is the key to power in Qi Gong.
Posture work / standing posture: Holding the moon, pushing the mountain, the tiger leaps at its prey.
Introduction to movement: How to shift your weight and move.
Principles of practice and fundamental Qi Gong theory:

Common mistakes to avoid
Practice principles
Breathing practice
Relevant and simple massage techniques to improve your Qi Gong practice.
Qi Dynamics: In/out, up/down, open/close, accumulate/disperse. We will study these movements in the context of the body, the movements, and their application in therapeutic care.
Seminar conclusion: Bringing all the elements together: standing (posture), breathing (breath or Tu Na), moving (Qi Gong), shifting and treating (Tui Na or any other method you practice, such as physiotherapy, massage, osteopathy, chiropractic, sports medicine, reflexology, acupuncture, shiatsu, Chi Nei Tsang, etc.).
Who this training is for: This course is intended for all types of manual therapists (TCM, physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists, etc.). Previous experience with Qi Gong is a plus, but not required. This seminar is open to both beginners and advanced practitioners.
Price and date: 3-day seminar: Friday, May 10; Saturday, May 11; and Sunday, May 12, 2024. Price: €310 if registered before January 15, 2023. After this date, the price is €350. 10% discount for students enrolled in Tuina Ji Ben Gong (January 2024).
